  • Embargo – Latvia’s defense minister calls on Europe to stop importing oil and gas from Russia saying it’s the only way to stop “Hitler-like” behavior from Putin. Artis Pabriks warns against any ceasefire agreement calling it a “Russian trap”
  • Russian Soldiers – A lawyer representing a group of Russian national guardsmen refusing to join the invasion of Ukraine said that hundreds of other soldiers and guardsmen had been in touch with him looking for help to avoid the war.
  • Germany has approved delivery of 56 combat vehicles to Ukraine, a German Defense Ministry spokeswoman told CNN. The vehicles are from the Cold War-era East German army BMP-1 (Pbv 501) and had been sold to Sweden, then resold to the Czech Republic who will deliver them to Ukraine
  • EU – The new President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, at a meeting with the head of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, promised that Ukraine would become a candidate for the EU “officially and quickly. We recognize Ukraine as a candidate for EU membership officially and quickly, and I promise you this from the European Parliament.”
  • China – EU leaders warned China at a virtual summit that if it helped Russia wage war in Ukraine or, for example, circumvent Western sanctions, its trade relations with the Union could suffer . This was stated by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
  • Returning Ukrainians – the number of Ukrainians returning to the territory of their state is growing. 406,000 people have entered Ukraine through Poland since the beginning of the war.
  • Lugansk – Russian troops targeted evacuation bus near Lysychansk. No casualties. About 1300 civilians to be evacuated today from Lysychansk
  • Russia Losses – the Russian army has lost about 17.7 thousand soldiers, as well as 625 tanks, 316 artillery systems, 143 aircraft and 131 helicopters
  • Ukrainian Aircraft – Sean Penn is throwing down the gauntlet to encourage bill in the hours to fill out the $300 million needed to purchase a couple of squadrons of F -15 & F-16s that Ukrainians could learn to fly in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

And 200 Ukrainian National Guard troops were also taken prisoner back to Belarus when the Russians left Chernobyl.

  • Mariupol – pray for evacuation as the Red Cross has said they had sent a team on Friday to lead a convoy of about 54 Ukrainian buses and other private vehicles out of the city, but they turned back, saying conditions made it impossible to proceed. In the city there is hunger to the point of cannibalism and the people are like zombies
  • Sumy/Kharkiv – Many villages completely cut off from all supplies and food and water!
  • Izyum – Russian troops captured Izyum town in Kharkiv region
  • China – Ukraine’s security service said the Chinese government attempted to hack more than 600 websites belonging to the government and other key institutions, beginning before the Olympics.
  • Global Food – there could be a global food crisis as Ukrainian farmers are being forced to limit what they plant due to the war. And also due to the fact that the main ways that they have a reaching global markets through the Black Sea is now blocked by Russia. Russia and Ukraine together produce 25% of all green in the world!
  • Refugees – According to Polish border guards, more than 2.4 million people have fled Ukraine to Poland . However, the number of Ukrainians crossing the border dropped significantly. Complaints about the lack of food and essential goods began to arrive at the points of reception of humanitarian aid for refugees from Ukraine in the Polish city of Wroclaw, Gazeta Wyborcza reported. “We have deliveries from abroad, residents are still bringing food, but the influx of aid, unfortunately, has been exhausted. The shelves are empty. The scale of aid is no longer the same as it was at the beginning, and the needs have not decreased,”

  • Russian Conscripts – President Vladimir Putin on Thursday signed a decree ordering 134,500 new conscripts into the army as part of Russia’s annual spring draft, but the defence ministry said the call-up had nothing to do with the war in Ukraine.
  • Russian Mercenaries – British military intelligence said on Monday the Russian private military company, the Wagner Group, has been deployed to eastern Ukraine. “They are expected to deploy more than 1,000 mercenaries, including senior leaders of the organization, to undertake combat operations,” Britain’s Ministry of Defense said. These are particularly used to create terror to break the back of citizen resistance in occupied territories
  • Russian Military – continuing to press in the north, but the real danger is that Russia seems to preparing for an all-out push in Donbas to encircle the Ukrainian army and to take the entire region and to create a united front against Ukraine.
  • Russian Soldiers – pray for their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being and for them to have the courage to face the Truth and the opportunity to receive the Gospel which is the ONLY answer to the atrocities they’ve already committed.
  • Russian Opposition – that those in the inner circle will see a way out and that Russian Opposition would be able to gather together in a meaningful way
  • Russia Offensive – Russia attempts to break
  • The Truth – In all things that the Truth would be painfully evident and unavoidable in all public discussion
